Protecnium is an international consulting firm specializing in engineering and technician services (www.protecnium.com/en). We are currently looking for a Contract Manager to join our team for a construction project.
-Project: Photovoltaic Plant
-Estimated duration of the position: 5years - In general, when the project ends, we try to place the employee in other projects to give him/her continuity.
-Main Responsibilities:
-Contract Management:
- Negotiate, draft, and review contracts with suppliers, contractors, and other partners.
- Ensure that the contract terms are clear and enforceable, aligned with local and international regulations.
- Ensure that contracts are favorable and protect the interests of the project.
-Compliance and Monitoring:
- Monitor the compliance with contractual terms throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage contractual changes, delays, or disputes, and modify the contract when necessary.
- Supervise the adherence to deadlines, costs, and the delivery of products or services.
-Risk Management:
- Identify potential legal or financial risks associated with the contract.
- Propose solutions and strategies to mitigate these risks, in collaboration with legal and financial teams.
-Coordination with the Project Team:
- Work closely with engineering, finance, and procurement departments to ensure the proper execution of contracts.
- Ensure that contractual agreements are understood and followed by all parties involved.
-Negotiation with Suppliers and Contractors:
- Participate in Negotiation with Suppliers.
- Participate in the negotiation of terms with equipment and service providers for photovoltaic projects.
- Manage contractual disputes and seek solutions that favor the project.
-Reports and Documentation:
- Maintain detailed records of contracts and any relevant modifications or communications.
- Prepare regular reports on the status of contracts and their execution for senior management.
-Working hours: Monday to Friday: 40 hours weekly.
-Requirements:
- A minimum of 7 years experience as a Contract Manager in Photovoltaic Plant projects or similar.
- Bachelor Degree in Industrial/Electrical/Civil Engineering or related.
